House & Garden Craft Prize 2026

Project Overview
Your London Florist was invited to create an immersive dried floral installation for the House & Garden Craft Prize 2026 at Sotheby's, in collaboration with the Craft Council as part of London Craft Week. The installation celebrated the intersection of craft, nature and contemporary design within one of London's most prestigious auction houses.
The Brief
The brief called for a large-scale botanical installation that would honour the spirit of the Craft Prize — celebrating skilled making, natural materials and considered artistry. The piece needed to feel sculptural and immersive, drawing visitors into the exhibition space while complementing the works on display.
Our Floral Approach
We worked with an extensive palette of dried botanicals: natural grasses, sculptural seed heads, preserved foliage and architectural dried blooms. The installation was designed to feel both abundant and restrained — a celebration of texture, form and the quiet beauty of natural materials. Every element was chosen for its visual impact and its resonance with the themes of craft and sustainability.
The Result
The finished installation became a focal point of the House & Garden Craft Prize exhibition at Sotheby's, drawing significant attention from press, collectors and London Craft Week visitors. It demonstrated how botanical design can function as a form of craft in its own right — considered, skilled and deeply rooted in natural material.
