Project Overview

Your London Florist was commissioned to create a series of bespoke botanical installations for Kotn's debut in the UK market, celebrating the opening of its Shoreditch store. Inspired by Kotn's connection to Egypt, the styling reflected the brand's commitment to natural materials, craftsmanship and thoughtful design, creating an immersive environment that welcomed guests into the space.

The Brief

The brief was to develop a collection of installations that felt authentic to Kotn's identity while complementing the launch event. With food playing a central role throughout the evening, the styling needed to sit naturally alongside the guest experience, drawing inspiration from the colours, textures and produce associated with the Egyptian landscape.

Our Design Approach

We designed a series of sculptural botanical moments using peppercorn branches, seasonal produce and naturally textured materials in warm, earthy tones. Decorative bowls of tobacco, paired with custom Kotn matchboxes, added thoughtful details that reinforced the narrative behind the event. Every installation was carefully composed to echo the understated beauty of Egypt, creating an environment that felt organic, refined and deeply connected to the brand's heritage.

The Result

The finished styling transformed the store launch into a considered brand experience, where every botanical element contributed to the storytelling of Kotn's UK debut. By combining natural materials with sculptural design, we created a series of installations that celebrated the brand's ethos while offering guests a memorable introduction to Kotn's first London store.
