Project Overview
Your London Florist provides bespoke office planting and ongoing plant maintenance for workplaces across London and beyond. Our full-time Plant Technician, Monika, currently oversees approximately 2,400 plants across 17 ongoing clients, including eight X+Why locations across London and Milton Keynes. From smaller office environments to larger sites such as X+Why Arding & Hobbs, where we care for around 320 plants, our approach combines thoughtful plant selection, considered styling and long-term care.

The Brief
Every workplace has its own environment and requirements, so our planting service begins with understanding the space. Monika considers factors including natural light, window positioning, temperature, air conditioning, heating and how each area is used before recommending the most suitable plants. We also consider the wider interior design, whether a space would benefit from a statement plant, clusters of smaller plants or greenery that can soften and divide an open-plan environment.
Our Planting Approach
There is no single plant that works perfectly in every office. Reliable indoor varieties such as Dracaena, Zamioculcas, Aglaonema and Philodendrons can perform particularly well in workplace environments, but choosing the right plant for the right position is key. We manage the entire process, from selecting and sourcing plants and pots through to installation and ongoing maintenance, continually assessing how each plant is performing and adapting its care when necessary.
Our maintenance service is an important part of the process. Because Monika regularly visits and cares for the plants herself, she develops an understanding of what works within each individual environment. If a plant isn't thriving, we investigate the reason, whether that means adjusting its care, repositioning it or finding a more suitable alternative, rather than simply leaving it to decline.

The Result
Well-designed planting can completely transform the atmosphere of a workplace, making an office feel warmer, more welcoming and less corporate. We regularly receive positive feedback from employees, particularly after new installations or planting refreshes, and often find that people become genuinely interested in the plants within their working environment.
Our aim is to create planting that looks as good months and years after installation as it did on the first day. By combining considered design with knowledgeable, ongoing maintenance, we help businesses create healthier, more inviting workplaces where greenery becomes a natural and lasting part of the space.
